Squirrel Invasion

 

The stroll to campus this morning was delightful. The sun was shining, and it was a pleasant 56 degrees outside. However, the occasional gust of wind was quite chilly, especially since I was wearing shorts. Nevertheless, I welcomed the brisk walk, especially after indulging in three Blue Moons at my friend's place last night.

Despite my late night, I managed to be quite productive yesterday. Despite attending a concert the previous night and only getting five hours of sleep, I powered through a three-hour crew practice. Afterwards, I whipped up breakfast with my roommate, tidied up the kitchen, cleaned my room, did laundry, filled up my car with gas, and even made a trip to Target to run some errands. I also spruced up my room with a new mirror and frame, perfect for displaying a photo of my mom and me. Along the way to campus, I encountered a plethora of squirrels. There were so many of those furry critters scampering about, including what I like to call "gangsta squirrels" - the darker ones. Who knows, maybe one of them will bite me in the future because of my nickname! I never noticed them until I started college here three years ago.

Although I completed my marketing project, I'm not too confident about my branding concept and competition analysis. Oh well, can't win 'em all. On my way back, I was blasting "Down River" and couldn't help but cringe at how silly and embarrassing I acted at the concert two nights ago. I definitely went a little overboard with my enthusiasm!

Now I am back at haome on this Fall-rific Sunday. Finished a glass of Fish Eye Pinot with a wrap smothered in avocado goodness. What to do, what to do. I finished my shit that's due soon.
