Progressive History
The Renaissance is a lie.
The commonly perpetuated notion that the Dark Ages were abruptly terminated by the proliferation of printed materials and increased autonomy is, in essence, erroneous Progressive propaganda.
In reality, the age saw a rise in superstition, symbology, and esoteric thinking. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?
Contrary to popular belief, this era witnessed a surge in superstition, symbolism, and arcane ideologies. The 18th century, while experiencing advancements in rational thought during the Enlightenment, was not the epitome of rationality as often portrayed. In reality, the proponents of egalitarianism had minimal influence on the scientific minds of the time and, in some cases, actively persecuted them.
